Kev After many years playing in Brass Bands I decided I needed a change in direction so approx 9 years ago I bought a bass guitar and a practice amp and taught myself the basics. I now try to practice for at least one hour every day. There is still a lot I need to learn. Then a couple of years ago some of us at work decided to practice secretly and perform at the works annual function under the name of “The Red Hot Chicken Dippers” we were not very good but got a great reception. The bug had bit and I wanted to play more gigs but the rest of the guys were not interested in taking it forward. Eager to find other like minded people I signed up to Bandmix a web site for musicians and within a few days was contacted by Tel and the dream was born – Dark Knight Unlike Tel I got rid of my Yamaha Dragstar Custom Cruiser motorbike as it spent more time locked up and only came out in the sun. However, I dabble in photography, am a radio control model aircraft flying instructor, and on very rare occasion these days I make use of my skills as an advanced sub-aqua diver, but the thing that occupies most of my spare time now all revolves around Dark Knight.
