el Tel Dark knight was conceived in summer of 2009 by Tel, a guitar player who after some years of experience playing solo and in other cover bands decided it was time to create his own band with a female fronted singer. Tels' music revolves around the blues, as this is where Tel's roots lies. "Apart from the rock stuff, It's all I prefer to play" Tel uses mainly Stratocasters for the funkier lighter sounds and a Tokai Les Paul for the "Heavy Stuff"! He also likes playing Ibanez Electro acoustics and rants and raves about how good their quality build is for the money. Tel's hobbies include assembling, repairing and customising Fender Strats. You can see some of his handy work on his own website at www.el-tel.biz Tel's amplification includes an all valve Peavey 50W combo and a Fender 25W Frontman smaller Combo used for practice sessions. Tel uses mainly a vintage Digitech RP7 Valve multi effects floor pedal for his main effects although you will see him using other assorted pedals in his arsenal. Tel's hobbies include riding his Suzuki Intruder cruiser motorcycle in the summer months which guzzles more petrol than his Toyota Celica, and taking the occasional hot bath whilst leaving his equipement still powered up or on standby when not in use, just to raise his own Carbon emmisions output just to upset the bone idol, carrot munching, save the worm hippies out there who got nothing better to do than to be a public nuisance.
